Dr. Moussa Abu Marzouk opens up on Iran relations
He noted that relations with Tehran “has soured” after the Hamas rejected any form of violence or repression against the Syrian people.

Interestingly, as the Hamas distanced itself from Tehran its relationship with Egypt and then-President Mohammed Morsi became stronger than ever.

The Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood have always entertained a strong political bond.
Speaking on the Hamas relations with the Fatah and a possible reconciliation, Dr Marzouk noted that foreign powers worked to compromise talks in between the two Palestinian factions as to promote political fragmentation and instability within the Palestinian community.
