“There were Jews, there were Christians [in Palestine], there are also Jews who do not like to see Israel and they talk about Palestine, everybody in all the historical books, they talk about Palestine… and we know that there were Jews in Lebanon, there are Jews in Syria, there are Jews in Egypt,” Saleh stated on Friday.

The Jews who lived in Arab countries were not kicked out or hated, he said. However, the “Zionists and Americans are hated by Arabs” because of their arrogant behavior and expectation that “Arabs be subservient to their policies in the region,” he added.

Arabs also hate the Zionists because of the massacres they committed against Palestinians, such as the Kefir Qasim massacre and the Deir Yassin massacre, Saleh said.

The Israel Border Police (Magav) carried out the Kafr Qasim massacre on October 29, 1956 in the Israeli Arab village of Kafr Qasim, which was situated on the Green Line, which at the time was the border between Israel and the West Bank, which was then part of Jordan.

In the incident, 49 Palestinian civilians were killed, including 6 women and 23 children between the ages of 8 and 17 and the unborn child of one of the women.

The Deir Yassin massacre was carried out by the Irgun Zevai Leumi and Lohamei Herut Israel Zionist terrorist groups on April 9, 1948, when around 120 Zionist terrorists attacked Deir Yassin. Deir Yassin was a Palestinian-Arab village of roughly 600 people located near al-Quds (Jerusalem).

The Zionists killed about 107 villagers -- including women and children -- in the battle for the village. The Zionist terrorists shot some of the victims to death and killed others using hand grenades that were thrown into their homes. Several villagers were also taken prisoner and reportedly killed after being paraded through the streets of al-Quds (Jerusalem).

“Israel is an entity built on occupation… the (Israeli) people should think that they should leave Palestine to its people as some people would say, Palestine should be returned to the Palestinians, not for the settlers coming from all over the world. So they (Israelis) would solve their social and also security problems,” Saleh noted.
