Palestine Rightly Blocks Calls For Talks With Israel
Amid all the controversy and oppression to many around the world, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has invited Palestine to resume peace talks, which Palestine have declined immediately by insisting that the Israelis freeze settlement construction first.

Netanyahu, the Israel Prime Minister proposed to start direct talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, without any preconditions. The call followed an appeal from international mediators. Negotiations broke down in late 2010. However these tals are not possible until some sort of stop is put on the constant attack on Palestine by the Israeli Government.

Nabil Abu Rdeneh, a spokesman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said that Abbas is ready for talks only if Israel halts settlement construction and accepts its 1967 boundaries as the basis for negotiations. Otherwise, he says, any negotiations will "waste time."

Israel captured the West Bank, east Jerusalem and Gaza, territories claimed by the Palestinians, in 1967. The oppression is stiil being faced by the innocent people of Palestine.
