US power to collapse over Ukraine

Q: Dr. Roberts, how should we interpret the recent comments by the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko?
 
Roberts: Well his military has been defeated by the Donetsk [People’s] Republic and he is trying to blame it on Russia. Now of course if Russian military units were operating in Ukraine, the battle would not be about eastern or southern Ukraine, it would be about Kiev. It would take the Russians at most 12 hours to conquer the entirety of Ukraine. 
 
So when he says Russians are there he is lying through his teeth. If the Russians were there he would have been hung by now.
 
Q: And so what would be the consequences of an all-out war in the region?
 
Roberts: Well the consequences are that the American neo-conservatives have thought they could acquire Ukraine as a member of NATO and put American missile bases on Russia’s borders.
 
But they found out that a great deal of the Ukraine as presently constitute,  consists of former Russian territories that were attached to Ukraine by Soviet Communist party leaders when Ukraine and Russia were both parts of the same country. And so they ran into the fact that a huge part of the Ukrainian population was Russian; these were former Russian territories.
 
    And so when the American puppets started threatening and insulting the Russian population, they simply said we are not part of this country anymore, we are leaving. So Crimea left and then these other parts of eastern and southern Ukraine have declared their independence. Well the response of the American puppet government and Kiev was to send the bombers and artillery and shell the people and so now the people of these provinces have formed their own military and their military is superior as we can see from the last couple of weeks to the Ukrainian military.
 
And so the Ukraine is being defeated by its own former provinces. It won’t accept that. Washington cannot accept that and so they are blaming Russia. That is what this is all about.
  
Q: And of the situation escalates, how much would Europe and the European Union be affected? Would the EU regret its attitude towards Russia?
 
Roberts: Well the EU has no prospect of sending an army capable of defeating the Russian army. Neither does the United States. 
 
    The United States, after 13 years, the United States was incapable of defeating a few thousand lightly-armed Taliban. If an American army confronted a Russian army, the Americans would be massacred. Moreover, they have got no prospect of getting in an army into that region. They cannot do it. And so it is really up to Putin what happens. It is not up to the EU. The EU is a puppet state of the United States. They have been hurt by the sanctions that Washington has forced the Europeans to impose on Russia. The main hurt is on the Europeans not on Russia. 
 
And so the whole question is whether the people in Washington trying to control Russia are going to lose the European empire. That is the question that is before the world: Will Europe sacrifice itself in order to serve American pressure against Russia? I doubt it. I do not think that is possible.
 
The government leaders might but not the people. The German people will stand for this when they see all the hurt coming to Germany because the idiot in Washington is trying to hurt Russia. This is not going to happen.
 
So what we are about to witness in my view is the collapse of American power.
