ISIL created to split Muslims, taint Islam

ISIL created to split Muslims, taint Islam
Q: Mr. Shadjareh, in your perspective, I mean how logical is that in general that a group really that is calling itself Islamic as our guest in Washington says, perhaps as they see deviants of particular religion and they become more extreme on that but it would appear that they would actually be more extreme on those who are totally outside of the realm of what we would call Islam.

We see in general with this group that nothing is said about the Tel Aviv regime but as he has said - our guest in Washington – continually attacking not only other Muslims but also Christians?

Shadjareh: Well this phenomenon really became into sort of international arena when we saw the resistance in Iraq, insurgency in Iraq against American government at the beginning was very effective and it was targeting American occupation.

But through sort of influence from Saudi Arabia we saw that insurgency in Iraq turned and became a power of sectarianism and turning its guns against fellow Muslims and in reality sort of changed the whole shape of insurgency which was very beneficial for United States and indeed for their allies Saudi Arabia and now we see the same thing.

I mean we see that this group in reality listening to call for Jihad of White House and that is why you do not see any of them going to fight in Palestine or Myanmar or Kashmir or Central Africa. I mean you know if that sort of effort was put into any of these other areas especially Myanmar and Central Africa, then thousands of Muslims would not have been slaughtered the way that they are being.

So for ordinary Muslims it is obvious that if you are going to put your life at stake, you  will think, you will try to go somewhere which is not a grey area and what we are seeing in Iraq and in Syria and elsewhere, these groups are not only against concept of humanity but also against all the principles of Islam but again we need to be sort of clear that historically we had similar thing between the Khawarij who were actually sort of so extreme that they  were putting themselves outside the fold of Islam.

Q: Mr. Shadjareh, if we look at the situation of ISIL in Syria and Iraq, which entities would you say benefit the most from the existence of ISIL and the chaos that it is causing?

Shadjareh: I am in no doubt that this was created to serve the purpose of Israelis and those who actually want to create havoc in the area and when you listen and hear the opinions of the [regime] of Israel saying over and over that they much prefer to deal with this sort of opposition in Syria than those the government of Syria and Iranian support entities. And this sort of articulation is in harmony with what we hear from Emirates and from Saudi Arabia and also in reality we see the same thing, the same policy being supported by United States.

So the reality is that although I am certain that there are many ordinary innocent people who have been attracted and fooled by this ISIL but the methodology and the leadership and the creation of it is definitely very clearly something that [is] actually helping all the enemies of Islam and it is very clear. We are already seeing this sort of havoc that has been created in Syria and now we see it in Iraq and we see it elsewhere.

These groups are instrumental to creating conflict even to the extent that among their own Salafi Takfiri elements they are fighting one another, they are slaughtering one another, and they are cutting each other’s throat. There is no justification for this except that these groups are actually set to create such a havoc that will destroy any possibility of a united front against the real enemies, those who have actually been creating problems like … [entity] of Israel and others who have actually created huge difficulty for all the Muslims and Middle East.

Q: Your take on the comment Mr. Shadjareh.

Shadjareh: Well I think this is really ridiculous. The reality is that all of us who have been looking at the situation in Syria from outset it was very clear that the opposition and this extreme group was there and they were present and in reality many observers, both Muslim and non-Muslim, have actually identified that this was really the only group which was causing military sort of problems for the Syrian government.

But the reality was that the West wanted to ignore this extreme group who were killing not just Muslims, they were killing Christians and that this was a factual fact but only the West has tried to sort of come out of illusion and say that this is not happening because it is so clearly, you would see it on the pages of YouTube people’s heart being opened up and bitten and shouting Allah-o-Akbar. No Muslim in the world could actually endorse such action let alone endorses according to Islamic values and principles.

The reality is that these groups were created, supported, financed. These did not come out of the madrasas, it is almost as lunatic to say that Taliban came out of sort of madrasas and suddenly sat behind the tanks and the jet fighters and started bombing in Afghanistan. These were supported, promoted and when you look at Saudi Arabia’s role in this you see their Ulama sort of making statement saying that you should not fight against Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel but you should go and fight in Syria.

And then people like that being supported to go right away through the United Kingdom and elsewhere promoting this idea of sending people to Jihad in Syria and then they join these groups in thousands and they are financed and then we turn around and say, blame the ordinary mosques for creation of these things and we actually attack religiosity of Muslims as a basis for creation of these groups.

These groups have got nothing to do with religiosity of Muslim community. These groups have been created, supported and financed by outsiders of our religion for two reasons. One to divide the community and Muslim community and secondly is for creating such a bad image of Muslims as a whole, that demonization of Muslims then it becomes more prominent and actually easier to promote and that is why we are seeing such a backlash against Muslims in the Western world and rise of fascism.

Q: Mr. Shadjareh, I saw you shaking your head with the comments coming out of Washington, I want to look at it and also get your reaction to our guest in Washington and also right now though Washington appears that it is upset with the chaos, how likely is that ISIL or ISIS is serving exactly the role that it appears that it was set up to do?

Shadjareh: First of all I think we need to recognize that there is a public position of United Sates and a private position of United States. The reality is that no amount of funding and weapons will go through Syria without the support of United States. If anybody is in doubt go and read and go to sort of places like Jordan and actually see the setup of the CIA operations and the training and financing and arming these groups.

These groups in today’s sort of world there is no way that they could shift this sort of financial support across the banking system and the infrastructure without at least the United Sates turning a blind eye and in reality what I believe is actively supporting it.

And you know I think it is really ludicrous to think that this sort of support which is leading to this sort of operation against Iraqi government could be something that is accidental or really five hundred people gathering from different prison on the world and are able to manage without that sort of support.

Look at sort of statements coming from places like Saudi Arabia and indeed from Israel and indeed neo-cons in United States. There is no doubt that there is this support.
