Al Wefaq denounces negative religious narrative

Al Wefaq considers the insult against Imam Mahdi, the grandson of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), an insult against all Muslims. Such insults indicate the absence of law and the judiciary’s lack of neutrality.

The newspaper that published the insulting article is owned by the head of Government, and so the regime is fully responsible for this provocation. This behaviour imposes an urgent necessity for a clean, responsible and uniting government that respects all religions and sects.
