When Frenchmen boast - the hidden horrors of colonial time
As history has it, French soldiers were quite keen to boast about the men they killed in battle, often standing proudly for the photographer while holding the heads of their enemies in their hands.

It is actually interesting to see how this culture of violence seem to have transferred to ISIL militants, the very men western powers claim are the result of political Islam.

As time goes by it has become increasingly evident that ISIL is following its masters’ habits and patterns.

While Western powers might now appear keen to hide behind Chapter XI, calling on nations to abide by international law and human rights, they clearly have no lessons to give when it comes to crimes against humanity. If indeed ISIL and all so-called Islamic radicals have committed despicable horrors, they did so in their names and that of their masters. Their actions and crimes cannot be blame on Islam and its people.

If anything western powers should be held accountable of the horrors they helped unleash on the world, as ISIL serve their purpose, their agenda.

If ISIL has taken into the habit of beheading foreigners it is maybe because it learned of France’s practices in Algeria and Morocco, when soldiers used to decapitate civilians and rebels alike.
