The UN Security Council meets to discuss the situation in Syria!

Story Code : 136050
The UN Security Council meets to discuss the situation in Syria!
No one denies that these are stunning and attractive headings, but the history of this organization shows the contrary. Ever since its inception and the beginning of its work, the world has not seen it but only protecting the interests of the major and unjust powers at the expense of the vulnerable peoples.

Regarding Israel - the whole world admits that it is a state practicing unlimited corrupt and injustice against the Palestinian people and others - this organization with its resonant headings was never able to impose any sanctions on Israel and to stop its terrorist acts. Even if one day any shy resolution was issued by it, it would immediately be faced by the American veto and the veto of others. Also, if the UN Security Council issued a resolution against the usurper entity, Israel will not care about it and will not find itself obliged to implement it, and this comes because it knows that the arrogant countries like the United States of America and Britain will not allow anyone to punish it.

The UN Security Council, which have no remaining room to maintain the trust of people, is meeting these days to discuss the situation in Syria and is claiming that there is a need for an immediate interference and for finding a suitable solution so to lift the injustice imposed on the Syrian people and to spread freedom and democracy in that country. As if this is for the sake of the people and their interests, and for keeping their security!

Here I am not going to list what has happened in that ill-fated meeting and will not repeat the words that were said therein, but I would like to highlight some of the points and words that caught my attention after recording some of those words so that to show the irony and duplication experienced by the arrogant countries:

The first point is what was issued by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, who said: (The silence of the UN Security Council about the crimes taking place in Syria and not doing anything is a scandal faced by this Council, which is supposed to protect the vulnerable people). Here, I just want to remind that Minister and the people as well about what is happening in the occupied Palestine since years, being committed by the usurper Zionist entity and witnessed by the whole world i.e. the most heinous humanitarian crimes against the oppressed Palestinian people. Didn’t this idiot see those crimes, as well as the silence of the UN Security Council about them? Why didn’t he denounce this and did not consider it a scandal and a shame? The same goes for what is happening in Bahrain, or may be the Bahraini people do not deserve a decent living in his corrupt point of view? Where did those people bring their boldness and insolence from, so that to stand in front of the entire world and demand to lift the injustice imposed on the Syrian people?

The second point is what was stated by the British Foreign Minister, (who accused the Syrian regime of raping women and children in prisons, and this cannot be tolerated, calling for an immediate intervention to end this humanitarian crime committed against the Syrian people). Thus, we have the right to ask, from where did he get this information? Even the hostile mass media, which is directed by the West, did not mention this and did not accuse the Syrian regime of committing such crimes. However, I would say - taking any positivity (if found) in what the Minister has said and because it is inadmissible to accuse him of lying: perhaps he was referring to the news that was published some time ago about the Turkish security forces who attacked the women taking refuge in Turkey, or perhaps he got used to the fact that his country’s soldiers and that of the United States of America were doing such acts as a habit in their prisons like Abu Ghraib and elsewhere. That is why he could not imagine that the Syrian army does not do such a thing!

The third point is Clinton’s strong keenness at the UN Security Council to mention the numbers and figures of those who were killed in Syria since the beginning of the violence, and to denounce the mass killings committed by the regime, according to her claim. This is what impressed me most in that meeting, but did Clinton fail to notice that like these days years ago the United States dropped the atomic bomb on Japan, which had killed more than two hundred thousand people, including children, women, elderly, and others? Do we also have to remind her that like these days its people expelled the indigenous Indians, and committed the most heinous types of collective crimes against them, or perhaps the wrongdoer has the right to do what no other one is entitled to do? Isn’t it rude to see the executioner defending and calling for the rights of human and for raising the injustice of the people?

In fact, the Arabs and Muslims themselves have encouraged and promoted this duplication used by the West and the arrogance without being ashamed of anyone. We find them these days worried about the Syrian people and their fate, and have prepared all their power to take them out of their crisis, according to what they claim. Yet, they did nothing ever to take the Palestinian people out of their crisis and out of the injustice being practiced against them by the Zionists!

What is required today by all the free peoples of the world is to stand together to take the Syrian people and regime out of their crisis, and to seek to achieve reform without allowing the West to intervene and to occupy. Otherwise, if the West interfered, everyone will be a loser, as happened in Iraq and elsewhere.

Also, what is required by the peoples and rulers is to be one hand in the face of arrogance, and to work together to resolve the crises and internal differences in the entire region, without making any concession to the arrogance. With this and nothing else, the dignity and freedom of our people could be preserved, for no one is able to maintain our values, morals and Islamic teachings other than us. Hence, how could the West protect them, while it pays no attention to us or to our values?
