The Gulf’s power ... beyond ideologies!
According to Prince Bandar bin Sultan: “The day when we were having wealth we did not ask anyone for anything and the day when wealth was brought to us we were never misers”.

With every disaster the Gulf is always the supporter of mankind in the East and the West and this behavior came from the depth of our affiliations and of the breeding of difficulties and pressures. Today, the Gulf has surpassed the idea of indulging in slogans.

This is a fundamental value and we are discovering day after day that it bounced back positively. An article by Professor Fahad Al-Dagayther published in Al-Hayat newspaper impressed me, in which he was talking about the renaissance of Dubai not in favor of the decline of Cairo and Beirut.

I am not with racism or factional discrimination, but we are also not with the Arab nationalist slogans, or with delaying the renaissances so that to solve the big issues.  A country starts a renaissance immediately, under any circumstances, as Germany did, which arose from the ashes of a devastating defeat in World War II to become through less than 45 years among the great powers that have economical and political influence in the world.

Returning to the distinctive analytical and economic thought of Al-Daghayther we mention his words: “Dubai’s Airport has expanded three times in the last ten years only to receive 80 million passengers, while the number of passengers through the Cairo airport does not exceed 21 million people... The Egyptian Airline worth nothing in front of the giant Emirates Airline, not to mention the Lebanese Middle East Airlines. Notice here that I am comparing between three cities that do not really share something in common in terms of the geographical location and nature.

The beautiful Beirut is considered one of the most important sites for summer and tourism in the world with its mountains, snow, and coasts... Cairo has the Nile magnificent river and the grandeur of the historical monuments and the fragrant history ... Yet, Dubai has a desert! It has none of that; no historical monuments, no beautiful nature, and no oil even. However, it has pulled the rug out from under all the Arab cities ... The advantages of those who planned to Dubai is that they did not resort to the Arabs of the north when they were determined to start construction. The New neighborhoods in that glittering Pearl (Loaloa’) have been planned in engineering centers in California and London”.

After all, here is Qatar renovating through a private democracy that is within the environment of the Gulf. Accordingly, the Gulf is developing within its surroundings, environment, and fields.
