Would Saudi Arabia barter Geneva II for the Lebanese government?

Would Saudi Arabia barter Geneva II for the Lebanese government?
He assured Riyadh that he also will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. By the way, Tehran said by itself that the nuclear weapon is forbidden religiously and legally.

Yet, we should note the other side of the words of Kerry. He is with the diplomatic dealing with Iran, is with a political solution in Syria- because the military option does not lead to any solution- is with fighting against terrorism, and is with holding the Geneva 2.

Kerry’s positions relaxed Saudi Arabia that was very anxious over the American Iranian convergence. Here is the Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal giving the American guest what he wants by encouraging the Syrian opposition to participate in the Geneva II, a day after the League of the Arab Countries encouraged it likewise. This league if you can see encourages what Washington wants. Perhaps by chance, but this is repeated always. No comment.

All this was known. Ever since the Russian and American presidents decided to go to Geneva II, the castles of rejection started to crumble. Personally, I am confident that the opposition will announce its approval to participate ... sooner or later. Otherwise, it will find itself facing the Syrian regime and Russia that will consider that it is fully responsible for the disruption. If disruption took place, (God forbids and the enemies of the political solution forbid), the Syrian army would allow itself to launch new attacks after the serious and decisive battle that took place at Al-Safira.

All the above mentioned is important, but what is interesting is that Kerry is attacking Hezbollah from inside Riyadh. As if by doing so he is responding to the recent speech made by the Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, during which he attacked Saudi Arabia, as well as responding to President Bashar al-Assad’s interview earlier with Al-Mayadeen TV channel, during which he accused Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey of participating in shedding the blood of the Syrians.

Yet, is Washington trying to hint to Saudi Arabia that if it agreed to go to the Geneva II, it will be supported to restore its role in Lebanon?

Maybe, but I personally really do not know how can this happen if Hezbollah and its allies decided to stand in the face of Saudi Arabia in Lebanon... This is very, very dangerous... Notice what is happening in northern Lebanon between Bab al-Tabbana, where there are many supporters of Saudi Arabia, and Jabal Mohsen, where most of the populations are the supporters of al-Assad.

We are in an era of understandings and deals that with no doubt would witness a lot of obstacles and would witness a state of convergence, then divergence, and then convergence between Iran and the United States... In such cases, the weak States pay a heavy price and Lebanon is weak, and even it is too weak in front of the game of Nations. In the era of understandings, it is passable if Kerry said that al-Assad lost his legitimacy, for this has been said by his President Barack Obama since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, but I personally speaking do not know really how to impose this if al-Assad along with Russia, Iran, Hezbollah, China and others insisted that he is part of the solution?

Tomorrow is close if you wait for it... There is nothing wrong if Kerry told Saudi Arabia beautiful words, for he went there seeking its approval to attend the Geneva II, and he got it...

It is important, no matter what the causes and results were, to stop the bloodshed in Syria.

After more than two years of the crisis and war, the Syrians will discover that they have paid their lives, their blood, and their homes in order to make their bodies bridges for passing deals and understandings later that serve everyone except them... Maybe, they will discover this.
