The Sound of Death for Israel and America
Two decades of public revolt against America and Israel have been witnessed between December 1987 December 2008. After the first intifada in Palestine, the second intifada started eight years later and moved into Iraq. On December 14th 2008, George Bush, who was the president of the United States at that time, held a news conference with the Prime Minister of Iraq in Baghdad. An event took place at this news conference which showed that the policies of America must change – a shoe was thrown.

This was the last trip that George Bush took to Baghdad. He was faced with a brave Iraqi journalist who threw shoes at him while he was speaking at the news conference. Muntazar al-Zaydi threw his shoes which started the shoe intifada. The brave actions of this Muslim journalist showed the hatred that the general public had for American and Zionist policies in the region.

During these decades America and Israel worked together in their occupations of Muslim land. Israel commits crimes against the oppressed Palestinian nation on a daily basis. America does whatever it can to help them commit these crimes. Also, the American puppets who have been placed at the head of many countries in the region do whatever they can to suppress Islamic movement.

The thing that is crystal clear is the cooperation between America and the child-murdering state of Israel. Recently, Noam Chomsky clearly stated in an interview with the Tablet Magazine that America was responsible for the crimes committed by Israel. The Israelis stopped attacking after the 33 Day War in 2006 and the 22 Day War in 2008 and did what any country which was unable to make military advances would do – ask for peace. America supported Israel in all of these moves.

One example of these measures replayed itself last month in the form of illegal settlements. Barack Obama spoke about stopping illegal settlements and was severely criticized by Israeli officials. Then, three weeks ago the United Nations Security Council made a resolution condemning the building of illegal settlements by the Israeli regime. America showed its true face in this situation. America is a bullet-proof vest that the Israeli government wears.
But, all of the efforts of America and Israel in building a New Middle East have failed. A tsunami of political change is sweeping through the Middle East. Governments supportive of America ,such as Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya have fallen. America’s influence in the region has diminished.

The roots of the revolutions that are occurring in the region are mostly made up of the hatred that the people have held in their hearts for these governments which were obedient to the White House. The events which have unfolded have changed the system and now Israel is faced with a region which is no longer subservient to the United States.

The Zionists tried to use military tactics to keep the Golan Heights in their possession and when that failed they clung to peace efforts. But, in the past the peace efforts were used as a tactic whenever the military tactic failed, and now Israel fears both war and peace. Dan Meridor, an Israeli politician and minister, confessed in an interview with the Israeli Radio: “If Israel does not present a new political plan the world will recognize an independent Palestinian nation with the 1967 borders.” Ehud Barak, the Israeli minister of defense, said in a Hebrew interview that the present conditions of peace would destroy Israel on an international level.

America and Israel benefited from Egypt as a political ally in times of war (for instance the 22 Day War) and in times of peace. The next time that Israel enters a war it will do so without the cooperation from a government such as that of Hosni Mubarak. The Haaretz said that when the Israeli submarine ‘Dolphin’ entered the Suez Canal and passed through the Red Sea it was considered a threat to Iran and it showed strategic cooperation with Egypt. Now the Suez Canal is taking opposite measures. Israel and America pressured Egypt to refuse entry to an Iranian warship, but they allowed the ship to pass through the Suez Canal. This threatened Israel and shows that Egypt is no longer an Israeli ally.

The Israeli newspaper Yehdioth Ahronoth angrily stated that the Nabil al-‘Arabi, the new Egyptian foreign minister, accused Israel of murdering a nation. This article also nostalgically praised the former Egyptian foreign minister, Ahmad Abu al-Ghayt and stated that Nabil al-Ababi is completely different than Ahmad Abu al-Ghayt.

The fire of these revolutions is kept alive by the hatred that these nations have for Israel and America. BBC statistics show that love of America has plummeted from December 2010 to February 2011 and that Israel is the most hated nation in the world.

In addition to the external problems that Israel and America are facing, they are facing internal problems as well. There have been large protests in Israel over the past weeks which have frightened the ruling party. They do not want these protests to turn into the protests similar to those which ousted the leaders of Tunisia and Egypt.

Furthermore, huge protests were seen in Wisconsin against the efforts of the Republican Party to reduce the power of American workers. Americans have been protesting throughout the United States about this issue. The economical problems of America are also being felt as well.

The one thing that is being exerted from all of the external and internal problems that America and Israel are facing, which the region has brought into the limelight, is the sounds of the deaths of America and Israel.
