Iran marks anniversary of Islamic Revolution with mass rallies

Islam Times - Various Iranian cities and towns were the scene of mass rallies celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution on Monday.

The revolution toppled the US-backed Pahlavi monarchy and set the stage for the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
