U.S caused worsening situation in Pakistan: Professor Ibrahim
Talking to Islam Times, Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami in Khyber Pakhtukhwa Province, Professor Mohammad Ibrahim explained durable peace in the region including in Pakistan will never be achieved while American troops remain in Pakistan.

The interview took place on the sideline of a Pakistani peace conference held in Islamabad this week.

Professor Ibrahim noted the government of Pakistan has no interest in improving the security situation in the country as Islamabad is more focus on how to avoid America’s displeasures.
He went on explaining Pakistan needs an honest and sincere leadership which will work in the best interests of the nation.

The scholar stressed the security breakdown in Karachi, Quetta and other parts of Pakistan are quickly worsening because alien powers are controlling government officials seeking only to weaken Pakistan to better control it.

He condemned all U.S drone attacks in tribal areas and declaring innocent people were being targeted in such strikes. He pointed to Islamabad inability to oppose further strike by closing its airspace, by fear to anger its American ally.

The scholar added that a large number of innocent people have been killed in the drone attacks in the tribal areas of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.

Answering a question on the war on terror the professor underlined the fact that America had alone created terrorism to better justify its operations in foreign lands, added that Pakistan awes originated from the presence of American troops in the region.
