Israel desires to open communication channels with Islamic movements
IslamTimes: The newspaper reported a high ranked Israeli Foreign Ministry diplomat saying that the Israeli ambassador should establish communications with all entities and parties that are in power in Egypt and talk to all those that agree to talk to him.

The diplomat added: “We must exert every possible effort to explain our position as not being enemies to the Egyptian people or the Palestinians. The Palestinians cannot keep hold of the Arab World by its tail.”

The newspaper ruled out that the Islamic movements will engage in dialogue with the Israeli government or its envoys and that the Israeli government did not try to establish formal communication channels with the Muslim Brotherhood since the Brotherhood insists on not recognizing Israel.

It is worth to be mentioned that the new ambassador which has been appointed a few days ago had met with Egyptian journalists and asked whether he feels worried of the Muslim Brotherhood’s political rise and he answer that he does not want to interfere in the internal affairs of Egypt and needs more time to study the political situation.
