Islam Times - Masjid al-Aqsa Closed Down

Police of the Zionist regime arrested 12 Palestinians this morning in Jerusalem and closed down the entrances to Masjid al-Aqsa in front of Palestinians who wanted to pray.

The Zionist regime’s radio station announced that the doors of the mosque were closed due to fighting between the Palestinians and the Israeli forces. The radio station called the Palestinians rioters who threw rocks and batteries at the Israeli policemen.

According to the announcement the Israeli police used fake bullets to disperse the crowd. 12 people were captured and among them were a number of Palestinians who guard Masjid al-Aqsa. It was also reported that eight Palestinians were injured in the attack.
