Islam Times - Algeria prepares for upcoming parliamentary elections

Islam Times - The New Algeria Front has organized a conference in downtown Algiers to discuss the upcoming parliamentary elections in May.

The party’s leader said the elections are a turning point in the history of Algeria since its independence in 1962.

The New Algeria Front is said to be inspired by the thoughts of Abdelhamid Ibn Badis; the leader of the Islamic Reform Movement in Algeria during the colonial era.

The New Algeria Front’s leader called on Muslim countries to stand against the westerns countries’ plots.

Abdesselam also highlighted the pivotal role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Muslim world.

The leader of the New Algeria Front stressed in the conference that all Muslims should unite to face external threats against the Islamic awakening.
