America accuses Saudi Arabia of involvement in the events of September 11
The New York Times was the first to talk of these reports and noted that the MPs issued these statements last Friday in the framework of judicial proceedings that have been waiting in front of the federal judiciary in New York since 2002.

Florida’s former Democratic Senator, Bob Graham who headed the congressional investigative committee on this attack, said that he is convinced that there is a direct relationship between at least some of the terrorist who carried out the September 11 attacks and the Saudi government.

Nebraska’s former Democratic Senator, Bob Kerry who was a member of the September 11 commission, said that there are important questions that remain unanswered.

He added that there were leads that point out to the involvement of Saudi government agents in the September 11 attacks and were not followed at all.

These statements, which have been made under oath, were in response to the Saudi authorities who confirmed that they were “exempted” from any connection with these assaults. Saudi lawyers are trying to exclude the statements from the judicial investigation.

The families of the victims welcomed the former MPs’ statements.

Beverly Barnett, the mother of one of the passengers on Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania, said that the families of the victims and survivors of the atrocities of September 11 did not lose hope in attaining justice.

She added that the financers and partners of those who murdered our loved ones are still alive and capable of supporting terrorist.

The U.S. had issued in previous reports that 15 of the 19 hijackers who implemented the 9/11 assaults were Saudis, but the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, America’s biggest ally, always denied any link to these assaults.
