Sheikh Hubail: The suffering of the Shiite community from discrimination extends to more than 100 years
He cited during his speech on Friday prayers in the mosque of Abbas in the town of Qatif in eastern Saudi Arabia the problems that the Shiites are suffering in Mekka of marginalization and deprivation of basic rights.

He added that the proportion of the Shiite residents in the city is half of the population. However, they are prevented from building mosques and revive their religion. This is what makes them pray and raise signs in their farms, saying that this is contrary to freedom and confiscation of rights.

And another example of deliberately harming the Shiite sect, Sheikh Hubail said that Shiites in Al-Khobar are still deprived of group prayers and prevented from building mosques as well as religious observances.

In the same context, Sheikh Hubail considered the confiscation of Shiite books in the country as a glaring example of the restriction of intellectual freedoms and of infusing a hateful sectarian spirit.

He went on saying that our fathers and grandfathers have called to lift this hateful sectarian discrimination, and today, our children continue to march claiming for this right the true, and still the state officials are not responding to these continued legitimate demands of the citizens... He considered that a call for an increase to the state of obstruction in the country.

He continued saying that the peaceful movement in Qatif aim to achieve nationality in its correct sense, so everyone would lives in love and peace and dignity without discrimination. He said that our will not break and we will not give up our legitimate demands.

And on the other hand, he spoke about the situation in Bahrain and said that the rally that came out in the ninth of March proved that the issue of the Bahraini is a mass with distinction.

He added the government of Bahrain is still stubborn in achieving the demands of its people and still occupies the Peninsula Shield forces of that country.

He saw that the Security Council, the Arab League, and other international organizations continue to remain silent about the case for the interests of Bahrain's arrogant leaders and as a disavowal of the will of the people.  He added that if the king of Bahrain is betting on breaking the will of the people of Bahrain, his is a loser in this bet without doubt.

He addressed the king of Bahrain by saying that ‘If you are wise, you must know that the shield will not help you and will not remain yours forever’.

He saw that the ruling does not last with armored vehicles and soldiers deployed in residential neighborhoods, but it lasts with mutual love between the parish and the Governor.

And in reference to the actions of the U.S. military in Afghanistan, he said that the crimes committed by the Great Satan in Afghanistan as an insult to the sanctities is only evidence of their hatred of Islam and is revenge to the people for rejecting occupation.

He concluded by saying that the fate of the American occupation in Afghanistan is to get out in humiliation as they were humiliated out of Iraq.
