Moroccans wage fresh anti-government protest rallies
The demonstrators rallied in front of the Appeal Court of Al Hoceima and Fes, ahead of trials for five political activists on sabotage charges.

The protesters also condemned government crackdown on peaceful protests and demanded deeper reforms as well as further action to contain corruption and unemployment.

Morocco has been facing serious economic problems over the past few years, with high unemployment and rising levels of poverty.

The anti-government demonstrations in Morocco began in the wake of the popular uprisings in other North African nations as well as Arab countries in the Middle East.

The country's King Mohammad VI has already announced some reforms, but protesters insist that they are superficial and not meaningful.
