Sheikh Ali Salman: Dictatorship in Bahrain is leading the country to more failure

Bahrain (Islam Times) – The Secretary-General of the opposing Wefaq Association in Bahrain, Sheikh Ali Salman, said that Bahrain is afflicted by dictatorship for four decades and has been leading the country from failure to another.

Sheikh Ali Salman added in a comment regarding the results of the French presidential election, “We congratulate Francois Hollande for winning the confidence of the French people for the post of President of the Republic."

The Bahraini opposition leader explained that "France has a new elected president with a new era, Bahrain should learn from France that achieved democracy and peaceful transfer of power”.

Sheikh Ali Salman wondered: "Shouldn’t Bahrain be ashamed of congratulating the President of France that has been elected through Ballot Boxes when Bahrain itself has rejected this process for over four decades?!”
