British people to mark Int’l Quds Day
Britain’s Islamic Human Rights Council (IHRC), which has organized the rally with the support of 17 other organizations, said they will take to the streets of London to “rally in support of Palestine.”

“‘End the Siege, End the Occupation, End the Israeli Apartheid...’ if these words are ever going to become a reality we have to stand united for the Palestinian cause,” IHRC said in a statement on its website.

The march will begin from Portland Place, near BBC Radio building, on 3 pm local time.

The International Quds Day was first declared by the founding father of the Islamic Republic Grand Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini in 1979, who designated the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as an occasion for Muslims around the world to rally in support of the Palestinians.
