US website TMZ published Prince Harry’s naked photos in Las Vegas.
"We can agree with what someone like Mr. Murdoch does, or we can disagree with it; but in the end that’s not for politicians to tell editors what to publish," said Hunt.

His remarks came after The Sun, one of Murdoch’s British tabloids, published naked photos of Harry taken on mobile phone in Las Vegas.

The pictures were first published by the US celebrity website TMZ.com, showing Harry, the third in line to the British throne, reportedly playing “strip billiards” in a high rollers suite at the Wynn and Encore hotel complex costing up to £5,000 a night.

“Needed to demonstrate no such thing as a free press in UK. Internet makes mockery of these issues. 1st amendment please”, tweeted Murdoch after The Sun published the photos.

The publications of the photos were in defiance of efforts by the royal family to impose a ban on the British press after they contacted the Press Complaints Commission which argued that the publication of Harry’s naked photos could be a breach of his privacy.
