Islam Times - Shooting in New Jersey grocery ‎store leaves three dead

Islam Times - It's not like Terrence Tyler explained himself at about 3:30 Friday morning when he walked out to his car from his job at the Old Bridge Pathmark.

The ex-Marine simply took a break -- went to his car -- retrieved an AK-47 and a pistol -- returned -- and started shooting.

By the time he was finished -- he'd killed two young co-workers and then himself -- and authorities are still trying to make sense of it.

Both of the victims were from Old Bridge -- and area residents just finding out are in shock.

Now the US has a history of servicemen coming home from the wars and having difficulty blending back into society due to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other problems.

According to a Marine spokesperson -- that's not the case here -- as Tyler was only in the service for two years -- and he never served overseas.

The killing comes a week after another disgruntled man killed an ex-coworker in the shadow of the Empire State Building and was himself cut down by police.

Add that to the mass killing at a Sikh temple in Milwaukee and last month's massacre at a Colorado movie theater -- and neighbors who knew the killer are saying its enough.

US politicians have been uncharacteristically silent on the issue of gun control -- as polarizing a topic as there is in US politics.

Experts agree -- however -- that with a down economy and no changes in any gun laws -- explosive shootings like Friday's will only continue across the US.
