Islam Times - The General People's Congress, headed by former President Ali Abdullah Saleh describes the march that the Regulatory Commission of the peaceful popular youth revolution in Yemen intends to do as aiming at the abolition of the Gulf initiative and its operational mechanism.

A massive march attended by hundreds of thousands of Yemenis was launched on Monday afternoon through the streets of Sanaa demanding the lifting of the immunity granted to the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and his regime.

The march which is organized by the boards and blocks and revolutionary youth and activists comes as an opening to their program to regain the revolutionary action and condemn the political assassinations.

An official source at the General People's Congress considered the march, which kicks off Tuesday from Change Square an invitation to violence.

It was said in a statement by GPC which was published on "Congress Net" that the call for the establishment of marches in the direction of the home of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh is a coup against what has been agreed upon in the aim to derail the tasks of the United Nations representative Jamal bin Omar, who resides now in Yemen.

The conference of state sponsors called for taking initiative regarding these actions which were described as reckless, any march heading to the house of Yemeni former President is considered crossing one of the red lines.

Congress and the coalition parties warned the calls to drop the ministries that came from the conference considering them to be the calls to drop the ministries that came from the conference.

In a related development, sources close to the former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh said that tribal groups will congregate Tuesday in front of the home of former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
