Islam Times - Russian officials condemned anti-Islam film

Islam Times - Released several months ago American film "The innocence of Muslims" has caused resentment amongst Russian Muslim community.

Some consider this film a provocation against Islam, and others believe it to be politically motivated.

According to the editor of "Russia in Global Affairs," the escalation of the situation in the Middle East is justified with the provocation of the West.

Russia officially recognized film extreme, and has contacted provider with a request to remove it from the web.

Since the U.S. failed to answer, several Russia's regional operators blocked transmission of the film.

An Islamic believer, who arrived from the Tver region has not seen the film, but gives an opinion.

In Russia, just as all around the world, recently US-made film has caused outrage not only for Muslims but also the majority of the population in Russia. Experts say, this film raises doubt about the peaceful intentions of the Western democracy in the region.

According to experts, democracy around the world is not a prerogative of the West, there are other intentions behind their cause.

Deputy Imam in Moscow mosque expressed his condolences and urged the Muslim people to a decent response.

Russian experts observe diverse reaction in Russia and in the Islamic countries, concluding that general reaction is high outrage.
