Gaza conference in University of Manchester discusses Israel boycott
The conference is not only about howing solidarity with Gazans, but also supporting the BDSMovement at universities in UK.

Organizer of the conference, Adie Mormech, said the conference calls for the boycott against Israeli apartheid until they abide by the international law and until they respect Palestinian human rights.

Over 100 students attended the conference in the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and 33 different universities are also being represented as a means to support the BDSmovement.

The conference also focuses on the power of the boycott and the pressure it draws on Israel since the boycott is one person’s decision to refuse to buy anything in relation to the boycotted regime without the intervention of the governments.

According to the organizers of the conference, Israel is taking every precaution necessary against the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement as Israel made it illegal to call for boycott with serious repercussions for boycott activists.
