Demonstrators in Aden call for end to oppression
Southern protesters gather in their Liberation Square every Friday to push forward their demands, and to protest against what they call the continuous oppression of the South.

Many who attended chanted anti-regime slogans and raised flags which represented an independent Southern State.

They also expressed that they have been witnessing brutal oppression for many years and continue to suffer till this day.

As protest continue to sweep the streets of Aden, much attention has been directed towards the upcoming national dialogue which is expected to take place in a few months to solve the political issues which currently exist in the country.

One of those main issues is the Southern Case, which has stalled the national dialogue due to the Southern Movement's resistance to engage in dialogue without first meeting their demands.

Southern revolutionaries have expressed that the southern people cannot enter into the national dialogue, while still suffering from poverty and unemployment.
