Addressing Asia Europe Meeting Summit (ASEM-9) in Vientiane, the noted that inter-religion harmony should be promoted shunning hate mongering in religion.

He strongly emphasized that despite Pakistan’s long standing efforts to fight off terror in all its forms the international community had yet to recognize the nation’s great sacrifices.

The Premier explained the war in Afghanistan had affected the entire region, declaring the promotion of peace was paramount to both Pakistan and the world.

He urged the international community to allow regional issues to be solved regionally through bilateral dialogues and peaceful negotiations.
