Hamas releases reports on economic loss of Israeli raid

According to the figures announced by Hamas ministers in the presser, Gaza has lost million of dollars. Israel claimed it was targeting what it called military facilities but the reality on the ground tells a different story.

According to the Ministry of Health, in the attack, about two hundreds of people were killed and nearly one-thousand-five hundreds other wounded, most of them children and the elderly. Another sector that was severely affected is the Agricultural one.

Government buildings, houses, mosques, roads and infrastructure, and other public facilities of Gaza were among the main targets of Israeli warplanes during the war.

While the process of reconstruction has shyly started with the available local resources, there is a lot of speculations on how this process can proceed with the absence of international assistance.

By presenting and reviewing figures of the losses made during the Israeli eight-day war on Gaza, the Palestinians know that they have a lot of work to do to rebuild what has been destroyed and recover what has been lost.
