Islam Times - Bahrain Muslim League Association boycotts National Dialogue

Islam Times - Bahrain Muslim League Association announced it will boycott the coming National Dialogue, days after al-Wefaq and other members of the opposition themselves declared they would give the dialogue a chance.

The MLA reacted to a call from the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Endowment informing its members they would be assigned seats at the coming National Dialogue.

Sources specified the Muslim League Alliance felt it have a say over who will attend the National Dialogue.

In a statement published on Sunday, the MLA expressed deep reservations as to the legitimacy of such a dialogue and its rate of success amid such a negative political landscape and so many unaddressed issues.

Members stressed they would not attend should they feel their values and beliefs will not be fairly represented.
