Mossad, Shin Bet warn Bibi on foreign ministry staffers
The heads of Israeli spy agency Mossad and security agency Shin Bet as well as the ministry of military affairs have told Netanyahu, who is also serving as the foreign minister, that the strike is harming Israel’s security.

Israeli foreign ministry workers started their strike in March in protest to what they call erosion in their wages and the "dismantling of the foreign ministry."

“The situation is such that one in three young diplomats in the [foreign] ministry quits because they can’t make ends meet,” said Yair Frommer, the head of the Workers’ Union.

The move has resulted in tense ties between Israel’s spy agencies and foreign ministry, whose employees refuse to issue diplomatic passports for ministers and arrange their foreign trips.

Moreover, the foreign ministry workers are planning to march towards Israel’s parliament -- the Knesset -- on Tuesday morning.

For their part, opposition lawmakers are working on a motion of no-confidence against Netanyahu’s government.
