Bahrain crackdowns on women over political divergence

According to the group there are a recorded 11 women activists in jail. All have seen their rights violated and trampled upon by the state -- freedom of expression, freedom of movement -- 
 
The rights group is concerned that the regime will subject women detainees to violent and criminal treatments such as torture, psychological abuse, refused access to medical treatment and so on...
 
The group called on the regime to respect international conventions and observe an Islamic code of conduct toward women.
