General Aoun warns of plot against Lebanon

Islam Times - Michel Naim Aoun - former Lebanese Army Commander and now politician and leader of the Free Patriotic Movement - warned forces are trying to sabotage Lebanon.

Commenting on the firing of rockets against the presidential palace on Friday, Gen. Aoun noted that the attack underscored deep dissensions within Lebanese society, something which should be address immediately.
 
The military said the explosions were caused by "two 107 mm rockets", and that it is "carrying out a search operation in the areas from which (they) might have been launched."
