Economic expert calls for unity in Yemen
The southern issue has been the main contention issue so far as southern leaders have pushed on the coalition a series of demands before they could consider returning to the negotiating table. This led to a freeze of the National dialogue and renewed fears the whole process would fall apart.

Dr. Mohammed called on all parties "to rally around President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi" as to guarantee the success of the NDC and thus implement a peaceful transition of power.

Speaking on Yemen's economic crisis, Dr Mohammed explained that the impoverished nation would require an injection of $15 billion to economically and financially recover, something the international community has promised it would support.

So far Yemen is only barely holding on; rampant corruption, weak state institutions, political and institutional unaccountability, a lack of unity and no cohesive national policy have left the nation in shambles, noted the economic expert.

With high inflation rate, growing unemployment levels and low foreign currency levels Yemen is still very tittering on the edge.
