Al-Manar Reveals New Facts about Ruwais Terrorist Blast
The probe focused on the route of the booby-trapped car, with sources told al-Manar that the car passed by three stages.

The first stage was buying the car which was BMW.

According to the report, the car was owned by Nada as-Salman, who is from Mousaitbeh and resides in Aliye.

A man from Ersal bought the car from Salman, who had no role in the attack, the sources said, adding that she was questioned by the Lebanese judiciary.

The man who is from Ersal handed the car to Omar al-Atrash, also from Ersal, whose name was mentioned by Defense minister Fayez Ghoson as he uncovered last month the identities of Takfiris engaged in terrorist attacks including killing soldiers in the Lebanese army.

According to the probe, Atrash heads one of Takfiri groups engaged in such attacks.

The second stage was preparing the car.

The probe indicated that Atrash had supervised some Syrians as they changed the color of the car from black to silver, and booby-trapped it. They also changed the car’s plate number and put another fake one: 823577.

The third stage was moving the car and then detonating it.
Three days before the blast, the Syrian Mohamad Jassem al-Karouni was seen driving the car in Ersal. Then it was driven to the area of Cola in Beirut, where it was caught on a camera there, two days before the explosion.

The car was then moved to the blast area, where it was parked, and then detonated.
