Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah warns Zionists

Speaking at seventh night of Ashoura which coincided with the eve of Day of Martyr, Nasrallah praised the sacrifices performed by noble martyrs like Qassir and called on his followers to keep the memory alive.   

“We must know the grace of the martyrs, their families as well as the sacrificing wounded and prisoners upon our nation, people and upon all of us.”

Hezbollah’s Day of Martyr embodies the anniversary of Ahmed Qassir, a martyrdom-seeking fighter who drove his car packed with explosives into the Zionist military governor's headquarters at Jall al-Baher area in Tyre city, Lebanon, in 1982. The blasts killed 103 Israelis.

There is also a monument near Baalbek, Lebanon dedicated to 17-year-old Ahmad Qassir.
