Iran Foreign Minister expresses willingness to improve relations with all regional neighbours

Islam Times - Speaking at a meeting on Monday in Tehran, Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif noted he attached much importance to building strong friendly relations with all countries in the immediate region as to promote peace and stability.

He stressed that Tehran will endeavour to promote bilateral ties with Doha.

The remark came about as Minister Zarif receive Qatar’s newly appointed Ambassador to Iran, Ali bin Ahmed Ali Sulaiti.

Iran FM emphasized his desire to see Qatar and Iran work together on all issues –regional policies and economic advancement – adding that there was much to be achieved together, a feeling which was echoed by Qatar’s Ambassador.

Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos on Jan. 22-23, deputy FM Majid Takhtrevanchi confirmed.
