Iraqi Army Kills ISIL Emir in Ramadi, Announces Destroying 75 of Group’s Sites

Islam Times - The commander of ISIL group in Ramadi was killed by the Iraqi army after clashes in the area of Bouferaj.


Tribal sources asserted that the Killed is Iraqi and lives in the area of al-Dawra, south of Baghdad.
 
Iraqi Military sources asserted that 75 of ISIL sites in Ramadi were destroyed since the beginning of the military campaign last month. 
 
The Iraqi army also announced that it arrested Tuesday 17 militants and confiscated munitions in the northern city of Mosul.
 
In a statement, the army clarified that its forces in Mosul preemptively arrested 17 terrorists who are involved in planting bombs and assassinations operations.
 
"The army confiscated 44 improvised explosive devices, 34 adhesive bombs, 30 shells and other explosives."
