Friday is Eid

Islam Times reports that Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei’s office has announced that the new moon for the Islamic month of Shawal has been proven for the wali al-faqih and Friday is Eid.
The Eid prayers will be led by Ayatollah Khamenei and held at the University of Tehran. The program will start at 6:45 in the morning, starting with the recitation of the Quran. The doors to the university will be opened at 6 a.m.
