Collective punishment in Bahrain leads to the suffocation of 3 months-old baby
It is not the first time that children and infants have died following exposure to toxic gases, a weapon prized by the security forces against protesters.

Even though the authorities know fully well the risk such gases pose to civilian populations they have nevertheless continued to use them to crackdown on what they perceive as dissent.

Residents have said to be outraged at the death, angered and disgusted by the regime’s contempt towards innocent lives.

Back in December 2011, a five-year old also died from toxic inhalation. Several pregnant women also suffered miscarriages as the result of the fumes.
