ISIS’ caliph could be injured - Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
ISIL’s infamous caliph would have been injured in an air strike carried out by the Iraqi air force as part of a broad campaign to regain ground against terrorists in Qaim, a city near the Syrian border in the Anbar province on Wednesday.

It is important to note that at this stage Islam Times could not independently authenticate such information.

Officials in Iraq claimed that several terror leaders were injured in the attack.

The Office of the Deputy Foreign Minister announced through Ambassador Haitham Abu Said that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the head of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, had been injured in an air raid in the city of Qaim in western Iraq by warplanes. He added that a large number of terror operatives were killed, including Abu Kamal, an ISIL commander in Syria.
