Israel mobilizes 16,000 more reservists for ground Gaza offensive
“The army has issued 16,000 additional mobilization orders to allow troops on the ground to rest, which takes the total number of reservists to 86,000,” an unnamed Israeli army spokeswoman said on Thursday.

This comes a day after Israel’s security cabinet held a five-hour meeting, deciding to continue the attacks against Gaza.

On July 30 alone, over 100 people were killed in Gaza, including victims who lost their lives as a result of Israel’s attack on a crowded market and a United Nations-run school, which was being used as a shelter by displaced Palestinians.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned the deadly attack on the UN-run building.

Meanwhile, the US has announced that it has agreed to restock Tel Aviv’s ammunition supplies.

At least 1,364 Palestinians have been killed and 7,860 others injured since the Israeli regime’s military attacks against the coastal sliver started on July 8.

The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, has been launching retaliatory attacks against Israel.
