ISIL digs tunnels to link Syria and Iraq

Islam Times - According to sources close to the matter ISIL militants – Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant - would have dug tunnels in between Iraq and Syria, in a bid to link Mosul to Al Hasakah and ferry men and military equipment in between the two.
A local councillor, Mohammed Yassin Abdullah was first to ring the alarm on such a development. Speaking the press he explained that the local authorities had discovered how ISIL planned to dig tunnels throughout Syria and into Iraq to by-pass roadblocks and smuggle men and weapons to and fro Iraq.
