Taliban attack Afghanistan’s Dur Baba, 50 killed

The attack comes a day after when roughly 100 Taliban insurgents were killed in an ANSF operation in the district in the past week.
 
Nangarhar Police Chief Fazel Ahmad Shirzad said, “Taliban insurgents have once again attacked the district. At least 50 insurgents have been killed so far in Sunday’s attack and a number of insurgents are injured.”
 
However, he did not provide details about the number of ANSF casualties during the operation. The Taliban insurgents have not yet commented about the operation.
