Islam Times - Supporting the Resistance Obligation for all in Region

The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated in a meeting with the secretary-general of the Islamic Jihad: “The policy of the Islamic Republic is to support the resistance and the various nations of the region.”

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said while mentioning that the Gaza War was a great victory for the resistance: “Some interferences cannot take anything away from the value of the victory of the resistance and the Palestinian people.

Confirming that fighting against Zionism and arrogance is a matter of belief, history, and principles, he said: “The sincerity of the Palestinians and their resistance caused them to be victorious in the Gaza War. The spirit of sincerity and resistance must continue so that the blood of the Palestinian martyrs was not spilled in vain.”

The secretary-general of the Islamic Jihad appreciated the support of the Supreme Leader and the Iranian government. He clearly said: “Despite the sanctions and the pressures the spirit of the Palestinian nation is high and increasing.”

Mentioning that the Zionist regime is always a threat, he stated: “The Palestinian resistance is always wise and prepared to face the threats of the Zionist regime.”
