(L-R) High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif attend a final press conference of Iran nuclear talks in Vienna, Austria on July 14, 2015.
In a Sunday interview with the Italian newspaper La Stampa, the top EU negotiator  in Iran talks, said that the nuclear conclusion is “a model to resolve other crises.”

On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 group -- the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany -- reached a conclusion on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in Vienna following 18 days of intensive talks over Tehran’s nuclear program.

Mogherini further represented the conclusion as a demonstration of “what the European Union can do.”

The nuclear conclusion with Iran is an important investment for restoration of peace, tranquility and change for Iran, particularly for West and parts of the Middle East, Mogherini further said, adding that with the help of this conclusion it is possible to work for a new beginning in the Middle East and Asia Minor.

The nuclear talks also gave the EU a chance to sit at the negotiating table with Russia, she added.

Based on the conclusion, temporary restrictions will be put on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for the removal of sanctions, including all economic and financial bans, against the Islamic Republic.
