Islam Times - Lebanese G.S. Arrests Syrian over Transferring Money to Terrorist Group

Islam Times - General Directorate of Lebanese General Security said on Tuesday that it arrested a Syrian woman over transferring money to a terrorist organization.

"Within the framework of following-up the activities of terrorist groups and sleeper cells affiliate, the General Directorate of General Security arrested the Syrian woman (A. Kh.) for transferring funds to a terrorist organization," a General Security statement said.

"During investigation, the woman confessed to her activities - along with other people - in providing financial and logistical support for the Abdullah Azzam Brigades terrorist group through one of the organization officials (whose name initials is H. Z.)," the statement added.
