Russian President prepared to cooperate with Iran

Islam Times reports that the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, spoke with the president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, over the telephone. They discussed many methods of improving cooperation between the two countries.
The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that Iran and Russia must always be friends and allies; they must always cooperate with each other. He said: “The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes the increase of cooperation between the two countries in all fields.”
Dmitry Medvedev, the president of Russia, also expressed desire to increase cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, oil, transportation, and trade. He emphasized: “Russia is prepared to cooperate with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields.”
