Islam Times - Kerry’s Pakistani Trip to release Davis

Islam Times – Pakistan’s former foreign minister stated that John Kerry asked him to free the American diplomat who killed three Pakistani citizens.

Islam Times reports that Shah Mahmoud Qurayshi, the former foreign minister of Pakistan, said that John Kerry, the American senator, called him during his trip to Islamabad and clearly stated that he wanted Davis to receive diplomatic immunity. He demanded that Davis be released from prison.

Qurayshi said that John Kerry wanted to meet Davis on this trip to Pakistan. The reason that he called Qurayshi is the good relationship that they had when he was the foreign minister. He said: “I clearly told him that Davis is in the hands of the courts. The courts have decided to try this American on two counts of murder.”

Raymond Davis shot into a crowded area of Lahore two weeks ago. He killed two Pakistani citizens and then a third while trying to escape.
