In his speech on the Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) in Yemen, Abdulmalek Badreddin al-Houthi slammed Saudis’ Hajj management and said Saudi Arabia has deprived a large number of Muslims from this year’s Hajj due to political reasons like the way many Palestinians are being barred from entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied East al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Saudi Arabia is in no position to claim full control over the Two Scared Mosques and block the path of Muslims to these places, he said.

Iranian Muslims were prevented from attending Hajj rituals after Riyadh failed to properly guarantee their safety which is seriously doubted after the Mina Catastrophe.

Several thousand pilgrims lost their lives after mismanagement of Saudi authorities led to a collision of large crowds of Hajjis on their way to perform their Ramye Jamara (symbolic stoning of Satan) ritual.

Ansarullah leader also condemned Saudis for their continued air attacks against Yemeni people and said the regime in Riyadh insists on continuing the aggression in order to appease the United States and Israeli regime.

Yemeni resistance has continued its path in Yemen despite the heinous crimes committed by the Saudis in 18 months of aggression on Yemeni civilians, he added.

Saudi Arabia started its air strikes against Yemeni people in late March 2015 in a bid to reinstall the Hadi government overthrown by Ansarullah opposition group. Over 10,000 people have been killed by Saudi fighters in the last 16 months.

According to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), more than three million Yemenis have been displaced due to the air strikes
